Aminat Odunewu-Ademola & Roxie Sweetheart
Off Duty Princess is a brand founded by Aminat Odunewu-Ademola, a British-born woman of Nigerian heritage. The brand was created after she completed her Fashion Design degree at the University of East London with her final collection of the same name.
The brands slogan is: ”Cherishing your inner child as you navigate an adult world”. It encapsulates the magical whimsy of her favourite J-fashion styles Fairy Kei and Yume Kawaii. She has always loved creating pieces with intricate designs and details, which is why she chose to specialise in making bags so everyone has the opportunity to experience this joy with an accessory.
She is also very excited to be expanding into clothing pieces and collaborating on this exhibition with her dear friend’s brand Roxie Sweetheart, whose carousel illustration captures the same essence that she loves.
